    TESTIMONIALS
    What Orffie Parents Say

"From shy and silent to singing along confidently"

When we first brought Maya to class at 2 years old, she would barely make eye contact with anyone outside our family. She’d cling to my leg and refuse to participate. But the teachers were so patient – they never pushed her, just gently included her. By the third month, she was the one leading the hello song! Now at 4, she’s the most confident child in her preschool class. Her teachers there have commented on how well she participates in group activities. I truly believe her early music classes built that foundation.

Jennifer L, Mum of Maya (4 years old)

"My anxious child found her happy place"

Lily struggled with new environments and new people. Every enrichment class ended in tears. But something about the warmth here – the teachers, the music, the other children – made her feel safe. Within weeks, she was skipping into class. Music has become her outlet for expressing big emotions. We’re so grateful we found this studio.

Rachel W, Mum of Lily (3 years old)

"The whole family has grown through this journey"

We started attending parent-accompanied classes when our twins were 2. Those classes weren’t just for them – they were precious bonding time for us as a family. My husband and I would take turns attending, and it became the highlight of our week. Now at 5, both kids are in keyboard classes, and music is a central part of our home. We sing together, dance together, and they’re always asking to ‘play piano for you’. This studio has given us so much more than music lessons.

    FAQ
    Questions Parents Ask Us

No. Orffie is designed to introduce young children to music through play, movement, singing and hands-on music-making. No previous music or piano experience is needed.

Before children are asked to read notes or play pieces, they develop skills such as listening, rhythm, coordination, pattern recognition and musical confidence. The programme then progresses into pre-keyboard and group keyboard learning.

Activities are specifically designed for each stage of a growing child’s mind.

    Some activities include:

    • music games to train kids focus & attention span.
    • movement & rhythm activities to develop gross & fine motor skills.
    • singing, playing percussion instruments to prepare musical skills & fine motor skills for piano playing.

Older children gradually begin exploring musical patterns and the keyboard.

At age 4, kids will have trained their focus & attention span for more structured learning. Their motor skills & sense of beat is now ready to explore the piano!

Orffie Pre-Keyboard Program eases them into the keyboard through games & stories.

At 5–6, they graduate into Orffie Performer Keyboard, a small-group class where they will not only to play the piano, but also reading notes, play by ear, create their own music, and much more!

Ages 0-6 is the golden window where your child’s brain is growing at the fastest rate in their entire life

By training your child to be more focused, confident & adaptable in new situations.

It builds the foundation for them to learn well both in & out of school

Not quite. In the early stages, children build musical skills through singing, rhythm, movement, listening and instruments rather than sitting at a piano for the whole class. As they grow, the programme gradually introduces keyboard exploration and prepares them for piano learning.
